*MORE ON SEAN'S RELEASE - 4/7/04:
(Thanx: Sammii @ SeanOHaireThePsychoticHottie.net) : "Here is what I have learned straight from the source...Sean is back in
Georgia now, he was at a friend's house tonight. He was let go over a match
against Rikishi.....he was supposed to job to him and he refused to do it
and proceeded to kick Rikishi's ass. He was then sent to OVW and let go.
He is upset over what has happened but he has asked the best there is to
give him more training. He will be training with Bryan Clark and Brian Adams
now and will be going to NWA-TNA very soon! Sean will not be gone long!"
This news is also from Brian Adams himself SO any other news I'd be
questioning as I have also had personal emails from Brian Adams on this!
Both Brian's are friends with Sean so this is not a bull$!t story!
Thanx to Elicia , Brian Adams & Bryan Clarke."

( Posted @ 1Wrestling.com by: Ashish - Thanx: Chelsea) : Some in WWE feel that Sean O'Haire was released because he did not show the dedication needed to become a star. Others feel he was a victim because he was paired with Roddy Piper who left the company out of the blue.

*GREAT ARTICLES ON OUR SEANTON SEX BOMB! :
(Source: PWtorch.com) : Mike Gibbons of Newfoundland asks: Why the hell hasn't Sean O'Haire been given a decent push. He was in the spotlight for a while, then Roddy Piper gets fired and Sean's relegated to Velocity. The man has got the talent so why are he and others like the Ultimo Dragon being held back when other people (Stephanie/Vince, Steiner, etc.) are being shoved down our throats?
WK: Sean O'Haire has the size, body, and look to be given chance after chance to earn a push. The problem with him is that in the view of management, he just isn't quite ready for a push yet because of his shortcomings as a worker. There is just something that isn't clicking with him in terms of being a wrestler who can tell an effective story in his matches. He's fighting through that, but from talking to other wrestlers in recent months and years, he just isn't progressing at the rate everyone had hoped. He was utilized with Piper because he made a good background bodyguard type character, but now he is lost in the shuffle again. His push has been start/stop, and the stops have been often due to his own shortcomings in his work at house shows. Ultimo Dragon is being held back because of the language barrier and his style not connecting with WWE fans (although that could be blamed on WWE not exposing fans to his style and showcasing how he's different). We know why Stephanie and Vince are pushed. Scott Steiner is pushed because he's a more developed personality than someone like O'Haire whose time is limited.
(Source: 1Wrestling.com) : You may recall a few months ago when I did talk about this issue, but that was only brief. This time, I'll be dedicating a full column to it, seeing as how some recent happenings have really pushed me to the limit. What am I talking about? Besides the fact that O'Haire's still stuck on my domain of Velocity (Which I don't mind for obvious reasons; the O'Haire O'Squash being one) after all this time, Vince just had the perfect opportunity to elevate him back up to main-event level. Who would you have wanted to see at Survivor Series out of these three: Matt Morgan, Nathan Jones, or Sean O'Haire? I'm hoping your choice is O'Haire.
If anyone can please explain to me how Jones or Morgan earned their current status, please let me know because I honestly have no clue. And I'm sure that's the case for the rest of the world too. Wrestling-wise, there's no question who the better man is: O'Haire. While Morgan is still inexperienced having come out of obscurity one week on Smackdown, and being in a Survivor Series match three weeks later, I am yet to see Jones prove that he learned more in OVW than a bodyslam. Is it that Vince thinks Jones has the best bodyslam in wrestling? Let's look at O'Haire. He's got a bodyslam in his offense, and it's actually unique and believable. It's the same throwaway bodyslam Ken Patera used back in '85, but we shouldn't even be discussing a basic move when determining someone's push. This is so ridiculous.
Is it the look? If Morgan and Jones have "the WWE main-event look," then what the hell does Sean O'Haire have? He's built basically the same way, and has more of a heelish scarier appearance. And unlike Morgan and Jones, he can actually move quickly around the ring. To quote the great Bill DeSquash from a recent Velocity, "O'Haire is the most agile big man in the business." Having seen Jones the past few weeks, he still looks like crap in the ring and deserves nothing more than status of jobber squasher on Velocity. I might actually like that. Morgan, meanwhile, has more potential, in my opinion, but is being pushed way too early.
Overall, I would hope all of you feel that Sean O'Haire is BY FAR the better man. I don't even know how many times I can stress this, and how stupid the WWE writers can be for not realizing this. Good wrestler? Check. High-flyer when needed? Check. Technical? Check. Experienced? Check. Awesome finisher? Check. Infact, in my opinion, O'Haire has thee coolest finisher in WWE today with the Widow Maker (Although it is closely contested by Paul London and Spanky's "Blatant Cheating"... Those who read the 'five-star' Velocity Reports will understand that), and if you've never seen it, then you're really missing out. Think of the F-U, only it's in the reverse direction and more like a reverse fireman's carry slam. If they let O'Haire execute that on big names, the move could really get over, as would O'Haire.
Imagine if the push had already happened. Instead of a brutal Jones/Benoit match, we could have gotten a potentially great O'Haire/Benoit bout this past week on Smackdown. Even O'Haire/Bradshaw matches would be watchable, mostly due to O'Haire's incredibly underrated wrestling ability. And instead of Big Show, O'Haire could have been the more logical choice to dethrone Eddie Guerrero of the United States Championship.
A few weeks ago, Bill DeMott said Sean O'Haire is "the future of this industry." If by future, meaning a few years down the road, then I unfortunately disagree because with the current Velocity treatment he's getting, most people will forget about him, and not care when he returns to the "A-show." I hate to admit it, but the world doesn't obsess over Velocity matches and angles like I do, therefore O'Haire is pretty much insignificant to the non-Velocity-watcher. But if by future, meaning at most a few months from now, then DeMott is right on the money. O'Haire has all the tools he needs to become a successful main-eventer RIGHT NOW, but if the WWE continues to stall, then this will just become yet another sad story of a highly-talented superstar going to waste
And I'm Matt Zylbert, you may go back inside the box again.
Okay, I didn't really go "outside the box" as much as I usually do, but the continued delay of Sean O'Haire's deserved push really pisses me off. Oh well, there's always the positive out of this of reporting and enjoying the O'Haire O'Squash every week on Velocity. With another column fini, I'll see ya tomorrow morning for the next 'five-star' Velocity Report. See yieu!
*BREAKING NEWS:
(Thanks: ASHTON & RADICAL WRESTLING.com - credited to WWE.com) : Since March 31, 2003, World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (“WWE”) and Roderick Toombs, a/k/a “Roddy Piper”, have attempted to negotiate the terms of an arrangement for Roddy to appear on WWE programming through August of this year. The parties have been unable to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.
On Tuesday, June 24, Piper appeared on an HBO program and revealed disturbing facts about his own personal drug use. Piper stated that he used drugs for many years while working in professional wrestling and that he does not like the person that he becomes when he actively performs as a professional wrestler.
In view of WWE’s inability to reach agreement on a contract and to assist Piper from engaging in any self destructive behavior, the WWE is ending any further discussion with Piper regarding a contract.
The WWE sincerely hopes for Piper and his family that Roddy can find happiness
*OVW UPDATE:
(credited to Lords Of Pain) FEB. 19, 2003 - Jim Cornette interviewed Kenny Bolin along with Lance Cade and Rene Dupree who had his 'butler' Maurice by his side. Bolin talked about how there was a big contreversy over O'Haire quitting or being fired. He went on to admit that O'Haire did indeed quit, but a stipulation in O'Haire's contract stated that if O'Haire quit that Kenny Bolin would still be his manager, so the question concerning O'Haire officially leaving OVW is up in the air again.
*SEAN QUITS BOLIN SERVICES:
(reported by Kitty O'Haire on 1/29/03) : "I just had a conversation with Aaron Lurch Wilson. He informed me that Sean wrestled in a dark match tonight at the OVW TV taping against a trainee named Robert Fury.
BUT THE BIG NEWS IS . . . Sean got on the mic formally QUIT Bolin Services, who proceeded to beat him down!"
*ROSS REPORT FROM 12/27:
(credited to WWE.com) : Sean O'Haire has stepped it up with his in-ring preparation, and the 6-foot-6, 270-pounder has come along way from his Power Plant days in WCW and his early days with WWE. I have a feeling we will be seeing a great deal of O'Haire on WWE TV in 2003.
*SEAN'S WWE RETURN:
(reported by Ross Report on Nov. 1st) : Sean O'Haire returns to the ring this weekend at RAW house shows. Sean is still a little sore but has been cleared to return to work, and he will be closely monitored.
*J.R. SAYS:
(reported by Ross Report on Oct. 25th) : Our injury situation is beginning to look better. By the end of the year, we should have Jazz, Sean O'Haire, Mark Henry, Kanyon, Maven and Rhyno back in the ring. Of course, this is all based on their attending physicians releasing them with no restrictions indicating that they are physically 100 percent. Under the right circumstances, all these talents can be significant players for WWE and each of them certainly deserve some good fortune.
